Faithfull servant

Laurene, 64, served faithfully the Pansington Family since her 20’s… until the day she died of a heartstoke. The death was painless and, as she felt her spirit floating in the air, she heard a voice. “If you wish, I can grant you a last day on earth. You will come back as a totally different person but you can chose what you want”.

Laurene had all the time she wanted to choose her appearance for her last day on earth. She didn’t know at first. After all, she lived all her life for the Pansington and, as an ugly poor woman, she never was able to found a family. She thought nobody will miss her. Then, she saw Yann, the younger son of the Pansington. She could feel her death made him sincerely sad. Laurene always loved Yann as her son but never knew it was reciprocal. She was moved but as she continue looking at him, as a spirit, she followed him and couldn’t prevent herself to look at him as he took a shower. That’s when, Laurene didn’t see him as a kid anymore. He was a 24 years old adult man after all.

At the same time, Laurence made her decision for her last day on earth…
